Job summary

The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency (CAA) is seeking a Head Start Education Supervisor to oversee the educational component of our Head Start program. You will lead teaching staff, ensure high-quality early childhood education, and maintain compliance with Head Start standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in early childhood education, Head Start preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory or administrative experience.
• Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and developmentally appropriate practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Head Start teaching staff; provide leadership and guidance.
• Ensure curriculum and lesson plans are age-appropriate and aligned with standards.
• Collaborate with Principal to implement developmentally appropriate practices.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to improve instruction.
• Analyze child assessment data to inform planning and program improvement.
• Lead center onboarding and practice-based coaching.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start standards, licensing, and agency policies.
