Job summary

NACOG is seeking a classroom aide to support teachers in planning and implementing activities for preschool children and maintaining a safe learning environment. The role involves classroom monitoring, assisting with meal times, health checks, and parent engagement while following all regulatory standards.

Qualifications include Level I entry level with 1 year experience or CDA Level II or equivalent credential, plus criminal background check and safety clearances.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with preschool children (Level I).
• CDA- Level II or state credential required for higher level.
• Criminal Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document classroom activities.
• Assist with transitions between activities.
• Assist with lesson plans and data entry.
• Assist with meals, cleanup, and toothbrushing.
• Greet families and perform health checks.
• Attend meetings and participate in safety checks.
