Job summary

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. is seeking a Center Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of assigned Head Start centers and ensure all activities align with program policies. The role requires leadership to motivate staff and ensure quality service within the center environment.

The position is full-time (10-month school-year), 37.5 hours per week, with salary of $37,410 per year. Bilingual abilities qualify for a 5% pay premium and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Administration/Child Development or Related Discipline as required.
• Three (3) Years’ Experience in child care setting.
• Related Management and Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall operations of assigned Head Start centers and maintain all center activities.
• Motivate, guide and direct the Head Start staff at the center level in a manner that supports the philosophy and the policies of Luzerne County Head Start, Inc.
