The role requires supervising staff, maintaining curriculum standards, and promoting positive outcomes for children and families in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with required credits in child development and management, plus relevant experience.
• Experience in a licensed Head Start/child-care setting with supervisory duties.
• Ability to navigate regulatory requirements (ADA/IDEA, licensing).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and staffing of a Head Start Center.
• Ensure health, safety, and curriculum compliance across classrooms.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; manage performance and discipline.
• Collaborate with partners to promote positive community relations.
• Monitor nutrition, waitlists, and classroom materials; track outcomes.
