Job summary

ECS4Kids is hiring a classroom Teacher to provide a warm, nurturing environment where children develop language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, use approved curricula, and monitor progress with TS Gold and CLASS-aligned practices.

The role requires coordinating with Center Manager, staff and families to support school readiness goals in a structured and supportive setting.

Qualifications

• DCF 45-hour training and one of the following.
• Teacher II requires an associate degree with 4 months preschool experience.
• Teacher III requires a bachelor’s in ECE with 4 months preschool experience or related qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational activities.
• Lead learning times in alignment with CLASS and best practices.
• Input daily observations and support individualized learning.
• Maintain daily attendance and program records.
• Communicate with families about children’s progress and goals.
• Collaborate with coaches and center staff to support learning.
