Job summary

Denison University seeks a Director of Enterprise Technology Operations and Planning to provide strategic leadership for the university’s enterprise applications environment, with a focus on Workday, Banner, and related systems. You will guide operations, governance, and evolution to support data-informed administrative processes across Denison.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred in CS or IS.
7+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications; 5 years of direct Workday experience with 2+ years of leadership in implementation/configuration.
Experience with system configuration, integrations, and project leadership.

Responsibilities

Supervises assigned staff, including Workday Business Analysts, integration specialists, and Banner support staff.
Manages the Workday release lifecycle and coordinates system testing with functional departments.
Leads technical management and ongoing support of enterprise applications, including Workday, Banner, and related third-party systems.
Provides technical guidance on IT application architecture and long-term enterprise application planning.
Collaborates with campus departments to identify system needs and implement new features.
Leads enterprise application implementation projects and manages vendor relationships.
Performs other duties as assigned.
