Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP, People Systems and Integrations to lead Workday integrations and HR technology strategy. You will oversee specialized contingent workers and act as the main technical liaison across HR, IT, security, and business stakeholders.

The role requires deep Workday integration expertise, data management, and a track record of driving operational excellence and scalable HR tech solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Workday and HR technology ecosystems.
• Experience scoping and overseeing the quality of work performed by others (either direct reports or contingent workers).
• Deep knowledge of Workday Integrations, Studio, EIB, APIs and payroll integrations.
• Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation, and support of Workday integrations and data exchanges.
• Lead development and maintenance of Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI and payroll integrations.
• Ensure reliable integration between Workday and downstream systems including payroll, benefits, identity management, finance, recruiting, learning, and vendors.
• Establish integration standards, governance, monitoring, and documentation practices.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize data quality, system performance, and operational efficiency.
• Serve as the primary liaison between People Systems and Enterprise IT.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and other teams on technical solutions and initiatives.
• Translate HR requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex integration issues.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to understand business requirements.
• Work with Workday and Cornerstone and vendors to implement enhancements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
• Facilitate prioritization discussions and roadmap planning for People Systems initiatives.
• Lead integration projects through all phases: requirements, design, testing, deployment.
