Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. in North Carolina seeks a Senior Director, Warehouse Operations to lead strategy, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all warehouses, inventory, logistics, and storage networks supporting manufacturing and customer commitments.

The role owns governance of warehouse operations and ERP/WMS platforms (SAP, WMS/EWM), transportation, cold chain, and automation initiatives, driving service, readiness, and cost optimization for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, Life Sciences or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for warehouse, inventory, logistics, and distribution operations across NC.
• Lead multi-site Warehouse Operations organization and drive safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Own operational performance including safety, compliance, inventory accuracy, service levels, productivity, and costs.
• Establish governance for policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance in warehouses and inventory.
• Lead capacity planning, network optimization, and labor strategy for current and future needs.
• Sponsor warehouse technology initiatives (SAP, WMS/EWM, automation, analytics).
• Oversee transportation, logistics, and distribution strategy with carriers and 3PLs, including cold chain.
• Drive enterprise initiatives for productivity, risk reduction, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, Quality, Finance, IT, and Engineering.
