Job summary

Sysco Houston is seeking an experienced Operations professional to direct inbound and outbound warehouse activities. You will oversee product receiving, replenishment, order selection and loading, drive expense and revenue management, and ensure compliance with government regulations while safeguarding staff and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 7 years of related experience and/or training.
• Powered Industrial Equipment Certification within 3 months.
• Ability to read, comprehend, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Direct inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Oversee product receiving, replenishment, order selection, and loading.
• Manage labor hours and supplies within budget and schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments and vendors for efficiency and safety.
• Maintain insurance certificates and hold harmless agreements for vendors.
• Review shipping and loading audits, HACCP and food safety documentation.
• Prepare budgets, profit plans, and capital requests as required.
• Evaluate metrics and drive performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, FDA, USDA).
