Job summary

Sysco is seeking a senior operations leader to direct inbound and outbound warehouse activities, fleet services, facilities management, and beverage services. You will drive safety, cost control, and performance against local and corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities include budgeting, regulatory compliance, and cross-department collaboration to meet customer service goals in a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required, in business administration, supply chain management, operations management or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 7 years operations experience.
• Progressive management experience is required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse, fleet services, facilities management and related staff.
• Prepare and execute annual profit plan with input from management team.
• Manage budgets including labor, benefits, supplies, and third-party contracts.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FDA, USDA and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor safety, security, and efficiency of operations and equipment.
• Drive cost reductions and efficiency improvements across departments.
