Job summary

Peninsula Light Company seeks a high‑impact Operations leader to run the Operations Department, partnering with the Electric Superintendent to deliver safe, reliable electricity and exceptional service to our member/customers in the Washington region.

The role develops operating programs aligned with Board and CEO objectives, crafting strategies, metrics, and systems to maximize assets while overseeing storm and emergency response on a rotating on‑call schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required.
• Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible management experience in electric utility operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective direction, planning and oversight of operational activities to support Company objectives, reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead operations resources, personnel, equipment, and capital investments to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Manage assigned departments with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and policy adherence.
• Develop and implement operational strategies and performance measures with monitoring and reporting.
