Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. seeks a seasoned Manager to lead the 24/7/365 electric utility operations for WV/MD. You will ensure safe, reliable delivery of electricity, compliance with regulatory requirements, and ongoing sustainability of operations.

You will plan, organize, direct and review activities across the WV/MD footprint, manage budgets and staffing, engage with union leadership, and foster a culture of safety and inclusion while coordinating emergency response and regulatory inquiries.

Qualifications

• Seven years' experience in electric utility industry preferred with leadership background.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent training/experience considered.
• Experience administering collective bargaining agreements and HR policies is desirable.
• Ability to lead teams, promote safety, trust and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead WV/MD Operations, directing safety, reliability and customer service.
• Plan, organize, control, integrate and evaluate work of operational groups.
• Engage with union leadership to foster inclusion and teamwork.
• Oversee staffing, budgets, performance development, and emergency response.
