Job summary

Skydio, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Solutions Engineering - Utilities to lead the Utilities SE team and drive technical discoveries, solution designs, and paid dock trials for utility customers.

This remote role requires up to 50% travel to customer sites, events, and field activities, reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering – Commercial. You will own ramp, enablement, and career progression for the team, and collaborate with Sales to ensure successful deployments and revenue growth

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading a Solutions Engineering team in a utilities context.
• Strong ability to guide technical discovery and solution design.
• Proven track record in driving technical wins and customer engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Utilities Solutions Engineering team.
• Own technical win rate and dock-trial governance for utilities customers.
• Represent customers within Skydio and provide product feedback to teams.
• Drive integration with ESRI, GIS, DroneDeploy, APIs, and data lakes.
