CIBC US in New York, NY, seeks a seasoned Head of U.S. ABS Structuring to lead analytics for the ABS group.

This role sits at the core of the growing securitization platform, coordinating with teams in New York and Toronto and engaging top issuers across sectors such as auto, consumer, and equipment. The ideal candidate has a deep quantitative background, 15+ years in ABS analytics, and fluency with Excel, Intex, and Bloomberg.

Qualifications

• B.S. in STEM; advanced degree preferred (Math/Engineering).
• 15+ years in Term ABS analytics with left-lead roles.
• Deep deal mechanics knowledge across auto, consumer, equipment, TMT sectors.
• Fluent Excel/Intex/Bloomberg/CAS/VBA for modeling and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and run models to structure term ABS transactions across asset classes.
• Convert language and formulas in Offering docs to deal models in Excel and Intex.
• Educate Associates/Analysts on Intex and collateral strats.
• Support pricing, DEC tables, and risk analyses for new issues.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, CRO, and rating agencies on new deals.
• Lead stress tests, scenario analysis, and tie-out with banks on issues.
