Citigroup Inc. in New York, NY is seeking an Associate to join the ABS & Financing team in Institutional Banking. You will learn fixed income markets, corporate capital structures, and securitization while working on deal teams to originate transactions.

The role involves developing materials, reviewing models, coordinating with issuers and lawyers, and supporting sales and investor discussions. A strong quantitative background and Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or closely related area (or equivalent).
• MBA preferred for advanced roles in investment banking.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in finance or banking.

Responsibilities

• Develop rating agency materials and presentations to support the transaction’s ratings.
• Review structuring models and prepare transaction analytics.
• Work with issuer, lawyers and accountants to develop offering documents.
• Develop materials for the sales and syndication process.
• Respond to investor inquiries and aggregate investor feedback.
• Coordinate meetings and execute administrative requirements.
