Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a strategic Head of Faster and Unified Payables to lead product strategy, pricing, and go-to-market for Unified Payables and its instant payments portfolio.

This leader will drive cross-functional collaboration with TPS, CPS, Sales, Strategy, Technology, Operations, and Risk to deliver an integrated, intelligent payables experience for middle-market clients. The role requires building a modern, scalable product set with a focus on working capital optimization,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 10+ years of product management experience.
• Product leadership in AP automation, integrated payables, or B2B payments.
• Strong knowledge of payment rails (ACH, wires, check, virtual card, RTP, FedNow).
• Experience applying AI and automation to accounts payable workflows.
• Experience leading build, buy, and partner decisions and vendor partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Unified Payables strategy, roadmap, and success measures with CPS leadership, tied to client outcomes like DPO optimization and faster reconciliation.
• Own product pricing, packaging, and go-to-market; partner with Sales for cross-sell campaigns.
• Lead the Faster Payments portfolio (RTP and FedNow) and modernization roadmap with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure risk governance, controls, and regulatory compliance are integrated into product design and operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers across TPS, CPS, and partners.
