Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Head of Professional Strategy, U.S. Vision Care, to develop and execute professional strategies that strengthen engagement with eye care professionals and advance the growth of the U.S. Vision Care business.

The role requires strategic leadership, deep clinical expertise as an optometrist, and a track record of driving commercial initiatives across Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs. Location options include Bridgewater, NJ or Remote (US).

Qualifications

• OD degree required.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in vision care or related healthcare.
• Strong understanding of U.S. optometric landscape and eye care ecosystem.
• Proven track record delivering strategic or commercial initiatives with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior clinical and commercial voice within the U.S. Vision Care organization.
• Lead the U.S. professional strategy, including annual priorities and operating plans with KPIs.
• Translate clinical insights and market trends into actionable programs and commercial opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and eye care stakeholders.
• Partner with Professional Affairs, Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs to align strategies with needs of professionals and patients.
• Represent U.S. Vision Care at industry meetings, forums, and advisory boards.
• Oversee education programs, congresses, speaker programs, and advisory boards for ECP engagement.
• Translate insights into strategic business opportunities and growth initiatives.
