Job summary

Bausch + Lomb, a global eye health leader, seeks a Head of Professional Strategy for U.S. Vision Care. This senior role drives professional engagement with eye care professionals, aligning clinical insights with commercial opportunities to advance growth across the U.S.

market. The candidate will lead annual priorities, build strong relationships with optometrists and ophthalmologists, and collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs.

Qualifications

• OD degree required; candidates who do not possess an OD degree will not be considered.
• 10 years of significant leadership experience in vision care or related healthcare.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. optometric landscape and stakeholders.
• Experience leading strategic or commercial initiatives with measurable results.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior clinical and commercial voice within the U.S. Vision Care organization.
• Lead the U.S. professional strategy, including annual priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes by establishing KPIs.
• Translate clinical insights and market trends into actionable programs and opportunities.
• Build relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, key opinion leaders, and professional associations.
• Partner with Professional Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs to ensure aligned strategies.
• Represent U.S. Vision Care at industry meetings, advisory boards, and professional events.
• Oversee educational programs, congresses, speaker programs, and other ECP engagement platforms.
