Bausch + Lomb seeks a strategic leader to head Professional Strategy for U.S. Vision Care. You will shape engagement with eye care professionals and translate clinical insights into commercial opportunities, partnering with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs and Education teams.

The role requires an OD degree with 10+ years of leadership in eye health and a strong commercial acumen. Location options include Bridgewater, NJ or Remote (US).

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree required; OD holders only.
• 10+ years of leadership in vision care, medical devices, pharma, or related healthcare.
• Strong understanding of U.S. optometric landscape and eye care market.
• Proven experience leading strategic or commercial initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen in sales, marketing, customer strategy, and product commercialization.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities; able to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior clinical and commercial voice within the U.S. Vision Care organization.
• Lead the U.S. professional strategy with annual priorities, operating plans, KPIs, and ROI demonstration.
• Incorporate optometrist perspective into strategy, innovation, product commercialization, and engagement.
• Build relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, KOLs, professional associations, and stakeholders.
• Partner across Professional Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs to align strategies with needs of professionals and patients.
• Represent U.S. Vision Care at industry meetings, advisory boards, and professional events.
• Oversee educational programs, congresses, speaker programs, and other engagement platforms.
• Translate clinical insights and trends into actionable commercial opportunities.
