Job summary

Galderma is seeking a Senior Director, U.S. Capital Project – Injectable Aesthetics to lead end-to-end capital investment for a greenfield USA manufacturing site. You will direct concept development, Basis of Design, URS, and ensure regulatory compliance across FDA/EU requirements.

The role reports to the Site Director with a broad cross-functional governance mandate and requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong track record in large-scale pharma capital programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience delivering major pharmaceutical or biotech capital projects.
• Proven track record on projects >$200M through design, construction, commissioning, and qualification.
• Strong expertise in aseptic/sterile injectable manufacturing facilities, utilities, and GMP.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in multi-stakeholder, global environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide full lifecycle ownership of greenfield capital investment as the single accountable leader.
• Lead integrated project organization with internal and external partners (EPCM, OEMs, consultants, contractors).
• Ensure design and project objectives align with site strategy and Global Operations standards.
• Direct Detailed Design, procurement strategy, and contracting for EPCM and equipment.
• Oversee scheduling, cost controls, and change management processes.
• Lead commissioning and qualification for validated, compliant systems ready for tech transfer.
