Job summary

Toole Design in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced transportation professional to lead the integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning practice. This firmwide leadership role combines practice leadership with active project delivery.

You'll mentor engineers and planners, guide business development, shape the firm’s technical direction, and stay engaged on major projects that strengthen client relationships and grow the practice. Report to the Engineering Director.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of success on transportation engineering and multimodal planning projects.
• Experience leading integrated teams of engineers and planners to deliver complex projects.
• Ability to lead a practice and drive business development and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and practice planning in support of growth targets.
• Mentor a team of engineers and planners; shape the firm’s technical direction.
• Stay active on major projects to strengthen client relationships and growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to advance practice priorities and recruitment.
• Oversee training, innovation, and quality control to keep technical work at the forefront.
