New Flyer, North America’s heavy-duty transit bus leader, seeks a Director of Quality – Transit to drive the quality strategy across Transit manufacturing operations. You will lead quality teams, ensure the Quality Management System is effective, and coordinate cross-functional actions to address the issues impacting customers and the business.

Responsibilities include setting annual goals, improving processes, and leading containment and corrective actions while maintaining strong relationships

Responsabilités

• Carry out the Transit quality strategy, annual goals, improvement priorities, and resource plans.
• Ensure consistent quality measures and review processes across Transit plants and review trends, risks, and priorities.
• Lead Transit plant Quality Managers and ensure execution of the New Flyer Quality Management System.
• Develop capable quality teams, maintain succession plans, and review readiness for leadership roles.
• Drive containment, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness checks for major issues.
• Build constructive customer relationships and lead quality response to critical customer issues, including visits.
