Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a manager to direct Salvage/Thrift Stores in Hot Springs, AR. You will supervise staff, coordinate transportation, and manage budgeting to optimize store operations.

Responsibilities include planning long-range objectives, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with OSHA and wage-hour regulations, and promoting community engagement and materials procurement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of production control, planning, scheduling, and budgeting as it relates to thrift store and transportation operations.
• Knowledge of personnel supervision.
• Knowledge of shop operation and equipment planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and evaluate thrift store staff and store operations.
• Develop long-range plans for Salvage/Thrift Stores and budgeting.
• Maintain inventory and production statistics, and ensure OSHA/wage-hour compliance.
• Coordinate transportation operations, including pickups, deliveries, and inter-store transport.
• Foster community relations and support for The Salvation Army.
