Job summary

Alliant Energy is seeking a Manager Technical Training to lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive technical training and apprenticeship programs across operations. You will collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to implement effective strategies and ensure training aligns with business needs and community impact.

The role requires strong leadership, curriculum development expertise, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement in a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related area.
• 5 years of experience in large electric construction, gas and electric operations, project management, or related work.
• 3 years supervisory experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic vision, design, development, and execution of technical training and apprenticeship programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct training policies, programs, and schedules.
• Maintain safety programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
