Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver progressive technical skills training for craft personnel, from fundamentals to complex levels. The role supports distribution line, utility automation, and safety-mandated training, under the supervision of the Utility Learning and Development leadership.

Responsibilities include evaluating trainee competency, developing materials, delivering instruction in multiple formats, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong safety culture and ability to convey safety policies.
• Practical knowledge of technical skills to be taught.
• Ability to perform craft techniques relevant to the subject matter.
• Effective written and verbal communication across media.
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Good interpersonal skills and customer focus.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% across intersystem routes.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and technical skills training programs for staff at varying levels.
• Mitigate risk in training delivery and report safety violations.
• Develop, maintain, and update training materials and curricula.
