Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions seeks a Technical Trainer to join our Training team. You will deliver hands-on field and classroom instruction for apprentice and journey-level lineworkers, uphold training standards, and mentor trainees to grow and succeed in their craft.

This role requires traveling to company job sites, updating training materials, and collaborating with leadership to continuously improve programs. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Lineman license or certification required.
• Bilingual English–Spanish preferred.
• Experience training craftworkers or safety professionals.
• Travel to support training at company sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and classroom training for apprentice and journey-level lineworkers.
• Prepare, update, and maintain training materials and curriculum.
• Identify training gaps and propose innovative approaches to improve learning.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback to leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of training programs and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with leadership and safety teams to improve programs.
• Serve as a mentor and foster a positive work environment.
• Travel as needed to support training at company locations.
