Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Graphic Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years in technical publications, technical writing, labeling, or product graphics.
• 3+ years of people leadership including direct reports and cross-functional work.
• Experience with regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements for docs and labeling.
• Strong document control, revision management, and cross-functional review experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet timelines.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with structured authoring and content management systems.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Technical Writing and On-Product Graphics teams.
• Oversee manuals, guides, labels, and on-product graphics creation and review.
• Ensure docs align with design, brand, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Build capability, processes, and resource planning for timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Marketing.
• Drive consistency in content structure, terminology, and quality.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, digitization, standardization.
• Support translation and localization for global launches.
• Oversee review/approval processes for docs and artwork.
• Coach team members and foster collaboration and continuous learning.
