Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION seeks a Managing Director level Head of Technology Process Re-Engineering to lead a GTS-focused capability for technology process mapping and re-engineering. This role reports to the GTS Head of Process Improvement and Risk Remediation and will drive end-to-end views and control improvements across global technology services.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in technology process transformation within financial services, with strong BPMN/SIPOC and operating model

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading technology process transformation, process re-engineering, or risk-aligned remediation initiatives.
• Experience operating at a senior leadership level in highly regulated environments such as financial services.
• Expertise with process mapping and re-engineering methods (BPMN, SIPOC, value stream mapping, Lean, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the GTS technology process mapping approach, standards, and tooling for documenting critical technology processes across GTS functions.
• Lead structured process analysis to identify duplication, fragmentation, and control gaps; design future-state processes and practical roadmaps.
• Establish governance routines, executive reporting, and measurable outcomes for process improvement initiatives.
