Job summary

WD is seeking a senior PR leader to join its public relations function at a defining moment as the company builds the AI infrastructure story. Responsibilities

• Develop and own WD's global tech PR strategy, including narrative architecture and a proactive story calendar
• Serve as primary relationship owner for WD's media contacts across top-tier technology press and trade publications
• Lead all aspects of media relations, including pitching, press release writing, embargo management, and rapid response to breaking news
• Direct external PR agency relationships, setting priorities and ensuring measurable outcomes
• Partner with executive communications to develop and place thought leadership content
• Develop and execute launch PR strategies for major product announcements and partnerships
• Build and manage an executive visibility program across podcasts, panels, keynotes, and awards
• Monitor the media landscape and synthesize insights to inform executive decisions
