Job summary

WD is seeking a senior communications leader to shape and execute proactive tech PR strategies that establish WD as the essential voice in AI infrastructure. You will manage media relationships, drive narrative-driven coverage, and partner with executives on thought leadership and major product launches.

The role emphasizes coordinating with Product Marketing, Legal, IR, and cross-functional teams to maximize impact, oversee agency relationships, and measure outcomes across campaigns.

Qualifications

12+ years in technology PR, with substantial in-house enterprise tech experience.
Strong existing relationships with technology media ready for activation.
Proven track record landing top-tier media coverage for complex tech products.

Responsibilities

Develop and own WD's global tech PR strategy.
Lead media relations and story development, press releases, embargoes, and placements.
Manage external PR agencies and coordinate with executives on thought leadership.
