This range is provided by Recruitment Room - Global. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Blockchain is eating the world of financial services and payments. Over the next 10 years, money, payments, and banking will move to blockchain-based networks.

The Role

As the Head of Talent, you’ll help us build and manage a world-class team, and ensure that we’re well positioned to grow into a generational company. Our people are core to our mission, and you’ll be responsible for leading the talent strategies that allow us to identify, hire, and retain top-tier talent. You’ll work closely with the leadership team on headcount planning and growing our organization in a scalable way. You know great teams are what make companies successful, and you’ll ensure our culture reflects the caliber of our team.

This role reports to our co-founder and CEO.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for all of our roles, from headcount planning to sourcing to offer
  • Build out our talent strategies and craft a compelling talent brand
  • Ensure an exemplary experience for every candidate
  • Be deeply informed on market trends and recruiting best practices, and serve as a strategic partner to leadership and hiring managers to ensure we’re hiring and retaining the best people for our teams
  • Develop leveling, compensation and career development frameworks and benchmark employees across the organization using those frameworks
  • Establish a workplace culture that keeps employees motivated and aligned with the company’s mission and values
  • Manage payroll and benefits, and ensure we’re competitive with the broader market

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience building globally elite teams at high-growth startups where you’ve competed against the world’s strongest engineering and finance companies for talent
  • A track record of building deep trust with leadership teams and hiring managers - your opinion factors significantly in their hiring decisions
  • An expert with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub and Applicant Tracking Systems, and an ability to leverage them creatively
  • An excellent communicator, attentive to the details and highly persuasive - you understand how to tease out peoples’ motivations and create tailored pitches that resonate with them
  • An evangelist for the team - you recognize that your role doesn’t stop once someone is hired and continues through helping them grow alongside the company
  • Familiarity with and an interest in stablecoins and blockchain technology

Location

Remote - Strong preference for NY but will consider EST +/- 5 hours
