Job summary

Crusoe seeks a Sustaining Engineering Leader to own deployed Spark fleet reliability, configuration, and obsolescence. You’ll stand up FRACAS, define baselines, and drive after-market improvements from handover to operations. You will begin as the sole owner and build the team as the fleet scales.

You will collaborate with Product Management and NPI, translating field data into robust requirements while ensuring cost-effective serviceability and lifecycle management for the first generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, or related engineering.
• 10–15 years in sustaining, reliability, or product support engineering for deployed capital equipment or infrastructure hardware.
• Experience standing up a function with processes and partner agreements.
• FRACAS, root cause analysis, and lifecycle maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own fleet reliability metrics for each generation and define telemetry requirements.
• Lead FRACAS and chair the Failure Review Board to close failures with verified fixes.
• Define spares, service intervals, and repair-versus-replace policy for the first generation.
• Own post-release change control and maintain configuration baselines.
• Translate fleet data into quantified design requirements for Product Management and NPI.
