Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research (START) is the world’s largest early-phase site network focused on oncology clinical research. We seek a Director of Study Operations to lead research operations, ensuring all aspects of study conduct meet START standards, regulatory standards, and with the highest quality patient care.

This role provides direction to Clinical Research Coordinators, Data Coordinators and Medical Records teams, collaborating with Nursing and Shared Services to support overall

• Leadership experience in oncology clinical research
• Regulatory and GCP knowledge
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Project management and process improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide effective, proactive leadership to coordinating teams to ensure quality care delivery and KPIs.
• Oversee data management and regulatory documentation to ensure GCP compliance.
• Support study acquisition/activation and protocol review with global shared services.
• Collaborate with department leaders to drive process improvements and site operations.
• Ensure inter-departmental communication with regulatory, quality, and finance teams.
