Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 1+ year of facilities management experience, with strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• At least one year of experience in public assembly facility management or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience of full‑time and part‑time employees preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of Missouri State Athletics & Entertainment facilities, including Great Southern Bank Arena, Plaster Stadium, Hammons Student Center and more.
• Plan, organize, and supervise facility operations, maintenance, custodial services, technical production, event setups and conversions.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships; ensure safety and readiness for events.
• Supervise full‑time, part‑time, student, and temporary staff across operations and production.
• Collaborate with University departments, contractors, promoters, and third‑party vendors for successful events.
