MizzouRec Services and Facilities – Division of Student Affairs in Columbia, MO, seeks a Facility Operations Coordinator to lead daily operation, safety, and service delivery of campus recreation facilities.

You will supervise student staff, coordinate maintenance, assess operations, and collaborate with campus partners to improve efficiency and readiness. Evening/weekend work may be required; a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience are expected; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
• 3 years of experience in operations, leadership, or related roles are required.
• Preferred degrees in recreation, sport management, student affairs, higher education, or related field.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within six months is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight for daily operation, safety, readiness, and service delivery.
• Maintain operational consistency and improve facility efficiency and participant experience.
• Lead, coach, and develop student staff with accountability and service focus.
• Oversee routine facility audits and coordinate maintenance with campus partners.
• Evaluate practices, staffing and facilities needs to identify gaps and improvements.
• Support incident response, safety concerns, and a welcoming environment.
