Job summary

SEAKR Engineering is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead and grow our presence in space markets from Centennial, CO. You will drive strategy, build executive relationships, and guide a high-performing team to capture opportunities with government, defense, and commercial aerospace customers.

The role requires deep BD experience, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of delivering growth in a technical, aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with emphasis in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Program Management, or an MBA, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term business development strategies with input from market analysis and customer needs.
• Drive revenue growth through market opportunity evaluation, strategy, and value proposition development.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government, defense contractors, and commercial aerospace customers.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the Business Development team to deliver results.
• Collaborate with engineering, capture, and product teams to align opportunities with company goals.
• Travel approximately 30%–50% of the time to engage with customers and partners.
