Job summary

Positron AI seeks a Director of Silicon Validation to own the full verification lifecycle for AI inference silicon, from pre-silicon to production validation. You’ll lead verification, emulation, and post-silicon bring-up, ensuring readiness for tape-out with data-driven decisions.

You will drive a cross-functional team across design, DFT, firmware, and software, shaping the verification strategy and infrastructure for scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years in ASIC verification/silicon validation with 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven track record delivering multiple ASICs from plan to first silicon and ramp.
• Deep hands-on SystemVerilog, UVM, constrained-random verification, and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead verification for pre-silicon verification, emulation, and post-silicon bring-up.
• Own verification strategy, tests, and coverage for tape-out readiness.
• Define content allocation across simulations, emulation, FPGA prototyping, and silicon.
• Scale emulation environment to enable firmware and software bring-up pre-silicon.
• Lead post-silicon bring-up, lab infra, and on-chip observability.
