Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a strategic leader to own and advance the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap. You will build and lead a high-performing team and coordinate with senior executives to translate emerging technology and cyber risks into actionable business strategies.

You will partner across enterprise units, align risk initiatives with regulatory expectations, and guide the organization in adopting best practices for security governance and risk quantification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 8+ years of experience with security capabilities, technologies and architecture.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees security risk strategy teams, including hiring, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Leads ongoing strategic planning lifecycle and communicates the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to align security strategy with business needs and evolving threat landscape.
• Facilitates bi-annual review of the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap with senior leadership.
• Partners with business units to translate requirements into strategic plans based on threat assessment.
• Provides advisory services across BISOs, Compliance Officers and senior leaders.
• Develops and communicates a long-term vision to improve security posture and mitigate enterprise risk.
• Interacts with auditors/regulators to demonstrate security strategy processes and capabilities.
• Keeps abreast of industry trends and regulations as directed.
