Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a strategic leader to own the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap, build a high-performing team, and collaborate with senior executives to translate emerging technology and cyber risks into meaningful business strategy. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

without visa sponsorship now or in the future. You will direct risk initiatives, shape the roadmap, and partner with BISOs, Compliance Officers and regulators to ensure governance and secure execution

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, CS or related field (required).
Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in security capabilities, technologies and architecture; 5+ years leading teams.

Responsibilities

Directs one or more security risk strategy teams and oversees hiring, onboarding, training and performance management.
Develops and communicates the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap and long-term strategy.
Collaborates with leadership to align security risk initiatives with business needs and threat landscape.
Advises BISOs, Compliance Officers and senior leaders across the enterprise.
Meets auditors and regulators to demonstrate Centene's security strategy and controls.
Maintains compliance with all policies and standards.
