Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a strategic leader to own the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap and develop a high-performing team across the enterprise. You will translate emerging technology and cyber risks into business strategy with executive stakeholders and ensure alignment with cross-functional initiatives.

The role requires guiding security strategy, influencing industry practices, and communicating a clear long-term vision to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with security capabilities, technologies and architecture; 5+ years of experience leading teams.
• CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSMP, CISSP, CISM or related advanced Risk or Security certification required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees security risk strategy teams, including hiring, onboarding, training, task allocation and performance management.
• Directs the ongoing strategic planning lifecycle and communicates the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap.
• Collaborates with leadership to align strategy with business segments and security capabilities.
• Facilitates bi-annual reviews of the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap with senior security leadership.
• Meets auditors and regulators to demonstrate Centene's security strategy processes and capabilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures compliance with policies.
