Job summary

N-able is seeking a Manager, Security Operations in a hybrid US-based role. You will supervise SOC analysts, drive incident response, and ensure proper workflow, escalation, and documentation. Collaboration with senior leadership and other teams enables strategic improvements and robust security operations.

The role emphasizes operational execution, process optimization, and mentoring junior staff while advancing security programs and governance across the SOC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity or IT operations with SOC experience.
• Experience in incident response, SIEM/EDR, and cloud security tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
• Certifications such as SEC+, GCIA, or GCIH are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise SOC analysts in day-to-day monitoring and incident response activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and escalation of security events.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Maintain SOC procedures and ensure consistent execution.
• Collaborate with other teams to support investigations and remediation efforts.
• Monitor SOC performance and contribute to reporting.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new analysts.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives.
