Head of Sales (East Coast) Automotive Inspection Services (B2B)

Chronos Consulting is part of the Coberon Chronos Group, an award-winning global leader in staffing, RPO, and business process automation solutions for multinationals. The Group owns 52 offices worldwide.

Our client is a multinational providing quality management solutions for the automotive sector, including inspection, auditing, consulting, and training. This is a newly created position seeking a Sales Director focused on the East Coast US and Canada. The role is home-based with travel to client sites as needed and at least 1 day per week in the office.

The Role:

  • Report to the General Manager and manage a team of 5-7 regional sales managers.
  • Travel and collaborate with organizational leaders to develop sustainable sales solutions.
  • Implement sales strategies to meet revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve new business targets.
  • Monitor KPIs and develop programs to retain clients.
  • Recommend pricing strategies and collaborate with marketing on campaigns.
  • Drive sales training and development programs.
  • Manage budgets and expenditures.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably in inspection or quality services.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience leading and growing a B2B sales team.
  • Strong leadership, influence, and organizational skills.
  • Proven sales success in dynamic environments.
  • People management experience, including coaching and performance management.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for the industry and strategic thinking.
  • Diplomatic communication skills.
  • Availability to travel as required (1 day/week in the office).
