Transdev in Boston, MA seeks a Director of Safety and Training for the Boston Public Schools transportation contract. The role oversees the safety program, training delivery, and incident investigations, ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and ADA requirements.

The position reports to the Deputy General Manager and coordinates with internal departments and external agencies to maintain safety and risk management records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Public Administration, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in passenger transit safety and training.
• Four (4) years of supervisory experience in passenger transit safety and training.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL with Passenger/School Bus endorsements preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage the site Safety and Training Department including training schedules, documentation, and files.
• Communicate company safety programs, rules, and tools.
• Coordinate with security and loss-prevention teams; update policies and reports.
• Ensure accidents are investigated and filed with the third-party administrator.
