Job summary

Snapping Shoals EMC is seeking a Director of Safety, Training, and Loss Control to drive a safety-centric culture and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization. The role partners with all departments to protect employees, reduce risk, and promote continuous improvement in safety practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety leadership, training program development, and experience managing DOT compliance and loss prevention initiatives, with a focus on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Five years related experience and/or training.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certificate.
• CLCP Credentials.
• Technical certification in electric field.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements and monitors safety plans to meet OSHA, NFPA 70 and NEC standards.
• Oversees DOT program including drug/alcohol screening and driver qualification files.
• Develops training programs to improve safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Leads monthly safety and training meetings and chairs Safety Committee.
• Investigates incidents and coordinates claims resolution.
