Job summary

Patient Care EMS Solutions is seeking a Director of Safety to lead enterprise-wide safety and risk management across all locations. The role oversees regulatory compliance, fleet safety, claims management, and risk mitigation to protect employees, patients, assets, and the organization.

Responsibilities include establishing standardized safety practices, driving a culture of accountability, and providing executive reporting on trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 7+ years of progressive safety and risk management experience required.
• Multi-location oversight experience preferred.
• CSP or ARM certification preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EMS regulations, DOT requirements or healthcare risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a corporate safety and risk program across all locations.
• Establish standardized safety policies, procedures, and compliance protocols.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Oversee workers’ compensation, auto liability, general liability, and professional liability claims.
• Provide executive reporting on incident trends and risk exposure.
• Travel to field locations to assess compliance and coach leadership teams.
