Job summary

Steadfast in Tampa Bay seeks a Director of Safety & Risk Management to protect 350+ employees and align EH&S, Fleet Safety, and risk programs with Operations.

Reporting to executive leadership, you will lead OSHA, DOT, EPA compliance, audits, training, incidents, and continuous improvement, while mentoring supervisors and building field relationships for safer, more productive operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 8–10+ years of progressive safety leadership experience
• Experience leading safety for organizations with 250+ employees
• Extensive OSHA knowledge
• DOT and Fleet Safety experience
• Workers' Compensation management experience
• Strong investigation and root cause analysis skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and accountability across the organization
• Support field operations with safety coaching and problem solving
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA compliance and audits
• Lead training, toolbox talks, and leadership development
• Manage incident investigations and corrective actions
• Oversee fleet safety and driver qualification programs
• Monitor safety metrics and drive risk management initiatives
