Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. seeks a Director of Safety to lead company-wide safety, health, and environmental programs. You will guide the development of a proactive culture, emphasizing training, communication, accountability, and workforce development, with EMR being a key performance measure.

You will oversee Site Safety Managers, partner with executives, and drive continuous improvement across fields and projects to ensure safe, compliant jobsites and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive construction safety leadership experience.
• OSHA 510 completion and OSHA 500 Authorized Construction Trainer certification, or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Certified First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, risk management, incident investigation, and safety training methodologies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Department with coaching, development, and performance management of Site Safety Managers.
• Develop and execute the safety vision, strategy, objectives, priorities, metrics, and accountability systems.
• Serve as SME on safety, health, environmental, and risk management matters.
• Partner with leadership to maintain safety as a core priority.
• Build a scalable safety organization to support growth and expansion.
