Job summary

Winchester Savings Bank in Winchester, MA seeks a VP Residential Lending Operations to lead the residential lending department, oversee loan production, processing, underwriting, closing and portfolio quality.

You will set strategy, manage staff, ensure compliance, and drive the mortgage cycle from application to post-closing, while enhancing LOS and secondary market activities.

A strong track record in leadership, underwriting, pricing and risk management is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in residential lending, including leadership or management responsibility.
• Underwriting and credit analysis experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field required; Master’s degree or industry certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the residential lending strategy in support of growth and profitability.
• Establish and monitor loan production targets, pipeline activity, turn times and pricing.
• Lead, mentor and develop residential lending staff; ensure compliance within the department.
• Oversee the complete residential mortgage cycle from application to post-closing, ensuring quality and customer experience.
• Improve efficiency by evaluating LOS and mortgage technology enhancements.
• Manage secondary market activities including loan sales and investor relationships.
