Winchester Savings Bank in Winchester, MA is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial relationships, focusing on credit quality, risk assessment, and ongoing relationship support for borrowers.

You will work closely with lenders, Senior Commercial Credit Manager, loan officers and the Credit Department to ensure sound portfolio performance and timely annual reviews, renewals, and cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management.
Strong understanding of financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow analysis.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned loan portfolio while ensuring policy and credit standards.
Perform financial analysis including cash flow and risk assessment of credits.
Coordinate with Credit on renewals, covenant compliance, and annual reviews.
Monitor portfolio performance and escalate risks to Credit and Senior Management.
Prepare annual borrower financial reviews and construction loan advances.
Engage with customers, brokers, and real estate professionals to identify cross-sell opportunities.
Generate monthly and quarterly lending reports such as CML and Annual Review Tracking.
Provide guidance to Credit Department members and assist the Senior Commercial Credit Manager.
Support ad-hoc bank initiatives.
