Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking a Senior Reservations Manager in New York City to maximize room revenue and oversee daily reservation operations at Lotte New York Palace. The role requires controlling inventory, coordinating with sales and operations, and ensuring accurate reporting and billing processes.

You will work with revenue strategy, rate integrity, and staff training, ensuring excellent guest service and adherence to SOPs while leveraging GDS FTCRS and OPERA systems.

Qualifications

• A 4-year college degree; or a 2-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or at least two to three years of experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily.
• Attend daily and weekly Revenue Strategy meetings.
• Follow the Revenue Strategy program according to SOP.
• Review arrivals report and daily flash report for accuracy.
• Be completely competent in all PMS functions used by Reservations.
• Monitor competitors for occupancy and rate and recommend changes.
• Communicate hotel information to callers and train staff accordingly.
• Ensure timely processing of travel agent checks.
• Maintain rate integrity program.
• Complete weekly test calls according to hotel standards.
• Understand and apply GDS FTCRS and OPERA.
